Instructional Support

Brown offers dedicated resources and workshops to support faculty and instructors as they navigate AI in the classroom. Whether an instructor is seeking to integrate generative AI into course assignments, establish clear syllabus expectations, or design an AI-free learning environment, campus partners are available to provide expert pedagogical and technical guidance.

The Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning offers a number of resources, programs and services to support instructors as they engage with pedagogical questions around the use of Generative AI in teaching and learning.
The Seminar on AI Literacy (SAIL) is designed to bring together discipline-specific teams of faculty and students to grapple with how to bring AI literacy practices into their curriculum. By partnering with students, instructors gain critical insights into student perspectives, ensuring course objectives remain relevant and engaging.

Research Support

Brown offers dedicated resources and workshops to support researchers and scholars interested in using AI tools in their work. Support staff are able to help provide guidance on carrying out data-centric research, accessing relevant data sources, analyzing text data and more.

Center for Computation and Visualization Resources

The Center for Computation and Visualization (CCV) supports AI-powered research at Brown.
